Where To Get Parts

  1. Hi

Where are the best places to get parts for our bikes, especially the UK.

    Thanks

  2. You should also find that Baines Racing have quite a bit of stock as they bought a lot of stuff from Bernies of Watford when they closed down.

However, having researched various bits and pieces for my bike, Moto Rapido came up trumps several times.......OK, some stuff is ridculously priced, but that's Ducati and not Moto Rapido...........If you talk to Craig at MotRap nicely he might also give you a small discount.

Some stuff is no longer available, but several of us on here have bits and pieces tucked away, so it's always worth asking.

For example I have a complete 750 SS dash, clocks, warning lights etc with nearly new foam surround, plus I also have a spare foam surround in reasonable nick and a polished aluminium one, too.

  3. Thanks, I'm thinking of getting the bike sorted just to run and then doing a full refurb. Still unsure about refurb to standard or maybe a white frame (which I've always liked, but then not original) or maybe something else.

  4. There is a crowd in Holland (who's name escapes me at the moment) who have a big catalogue of parts and there are loads of different places in UK - I've also heard Moto Rapido are tops for genuine Ducati parts :upyeah:
If you're doing a full refurb though, you'll be more interested in re-conditioners, platers, painters and purveyors of used bits etc.
Threads on here will point you to pretty much any service / supplier you can think of.:)

  5. Thanks John

  6. JHP Coventry might be worth a try as well.
