Shame they have that Aussie tit doing the commentary as their pre race stuff with interviews and stuff (the chatter piece was really interesting) is really good. Interviewing on the grid and post race....all the stuff Eurosport sadly lack as well as a better picture!! And Cal racing with a broken and dislocated ankle?! Wtf?! Proper respect
I like the Aussie tit. He's pretty funny and has a great turn of phrase. In fact, I really like the BBC coverage. Parrish knows what he is talking about. Their F1 commentary is excellent too with David Coulthard. And there's no ads.
He can't say anything unless it's a metaphor...over and over again...like watching an old episode of home and away with that alf bloke!!
And I need that like hell in a hardcart Its not even like he uses ones in common use, he makes em up as he goes
Just watched the BBC coverage and I don't mind those two, what I do mind though is seeing James Toseland in some of the dodgiest leather jackets ive ever seen and wtf is going on with his teeth? Has he had them done? He sounds like he's talking through them...like a ventriloquist or something.... He's freaking me out now
Both Cox & Parrish are excellent commentators IMO. Very passionate about the sport and dont take themselves too seriously. Best MotoGP race Ive seen in a loooooong time. CC. What a hero.
Cant stand that Aussie git and all his car racing references which I really couldn't give a sh one T about, its supposed to be all about bikes . Parrish , Matt and Azi are fine. The only thing about Cox is his occasional funny quip. Today Parrish was talking about some bikes revving out to 17,000 whereas your average family car would rev line at 5,000. Cox pipes up , yea that woulden't include hire cars which seem to rev much higher:biggrin:
That's what's so good about him -making it up as he goes along. Never fails to amuse me. Now the Swiss commentary - strueth. He uses exactly the same expressions week in week out. By the end of the season you're just in a permanent cringe.
I need Charlie Cox like I need a third armpit Parrish is spot on, though, as is Matt, but Azi's way overdressed...
Mmmm, not sure about Charlie Boy, too much of the same thing week in and week out. They need to take a few lessons from Eurosport. Now, Steve Parish and James Whitham, that'd be a good team.
The BBC coverage is brutal, particularly the Aussie chap. It's very much aimed at people who don't really understand motorcycles or know anything about them. Eurosport's coverage is less Janet and John, plus they show the support races as well.
I met Suzi Perry at the Nou Camp in Barcelona a couple of years ago. Not only is she stunning in real life but she was really nice too. Had a chat with her over lunch and had my pic taken with her too. She made an old man very happy  And still does in my ickle world
OK, I'll take Steve Parrish, the Aussi Charlie tit, Suzi Perry and James Whitham. There we go - what a team! In fact, it would be so good they might as well do WSBK too while they're about it.
