848 / 1098 Modifications - what did you do ?

  1. Had a few carbon bits sat around since last year plus picked up the seat.. Won't be adding much more.

    Kinda neglected the bike as I've started to get back into cars again.. So been spending the hard earned on that.. Back in bike mode again [emoji106]

  3. Suspension setup, full Termi System, 14 tooth front sprocket so far, full ECU remap on the cards

  4. i put a super-pole seat on the 848. I sit about an inch higher now.
    I put rear sets on; and lifted the foot pegs up by about 1/2 inch.
    I no longer drag my toes on Melbourne loop at Donington; much better... ;-)

  6. I've stuck some up last week of the new carbon bits, will get seat on this weekend & get a few more up.

    Thinking about adding some black stomp grip! Is that a worth while addition

  7. Depends on your riding style. I can't say I notice them or use them on any bikes.

  8. I've put some Tech Specs on. Same(ish) effect as StompGrips but less aggressive. I've found them most useful under heavy braking. You can use your legs more to hold yourself up so you don't get all the force on your wrists.

    Added benefit is that they protect the paint on your tank.

  12. Sure it will be. I've got some ready to go on as soon as I get round to it. Don't know whether to use the small triangular strips yet though.

  13. It was mine last week but just waiting on them to release it from workshop, just waiting on ventureshield to be done.

  15. Yes, I love the trellis frame and underseat exhaust, was gutted when I parted with my 848 Evo dark and vowed I would have another one some day so now I have and yes keeping the other two :)

  17. Had 10 min blast home as it wasn't ready till 4 and I am out tonight so had to get home. It felt so nice.

  18. What is it you miss most about your 848 Dom? As someone who finds the Panigale tempting, I find it interesting that alot of those that have moved on still miss their 848's

  20. Can't really put it into words why I miss it. The Panigale is too good I think and I liked being able to rag the 848 about.
