  2. You only need to worry if it says 'Not of Road Use' or 'Race Use' on them.

  3. It don't say that mate, so should be ok, just the rest of the bike to worry about!!

  4. I believe E4 is the latest European emission-compliant number so it should be fine for MOT purposes

  5. There's no E Numbers on my non-OEM zorsts

  6. E1 - Germany
    E2 - France
    E3 - Italy
    E4 - Netherlands
    E5 - Sweden
    E6 - Belgium
    E7 - Hungary
    E8 - Czech Republic
    E9 - Spain
    E10 - Yugoslavia
    E11 - United Kingdom
    E12 - Austria
    E13 - Luxembourg
    E14 - Switzerland
    E16 - Norway
    E17 - Finland
    E18 - Denmark
    E19 - Romania
    E20 - Poland
    E21 - Portugal
    E22 - Russian Federation
    E23 - Greece
    E24 - Ireland
    E25 - Croatia
    E26 - Slovenia
    E27 - Slovakia
    E28 - Belarus
    E29 - Estonia
    E31 - Bosnia and Herzegovina
    E32 - Latvia
    E34 - Bulgaria
    E37 - Turkey
E40 - The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
    E42 - European Community
    E43 - Japan

Just managed to find the above. It's the country of origin stamps, and apparently these marks are also excepted in other country's as their laws are not as strict as ours.
It's not a list of the next Euro cup results, order of finishing, though it may not be far out!!
    Thanks for everybody's help

  7. That is where the 'E' is capital. So e4 doesn't relate to the Netherlands.

e4 is the European Community compliance mark. https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt...29-Sample-EC-whole-vehicle-approval-plate.pdf

  8. Whether the exhaust has E numbers or not, the actual MOT will depend on the discretion of the tester.........

So if you think it is probably too loud, then he probably will as well.

  9. Depends on the MOT tester, there is no noise measure so it's at their discretion.

My Monster with Termis and no baffles and mates cruiser with straight through pipes the tester said in his opinion that's what those bikes should sound like so would pass with no problems.

  10. Euro 4 on motorcycles is being introduced next year, for all new bikes, and we ant in that category. I think we're probably euro -10 for emissions!! Any way we'll see how it goes next week.

  11. Anyway, why are you worried about E numbers? Surely you aren't going to cook and eat it?

Do you get hyper-active on the orange additive or have trouble digesting monosodium glutamate?

Plus I thought you wanted my carbon tube..........there baint no E number on that.

If you are only worried about the noise and the rest of the bike is tip top, take it to the tester I use.

  12. Not worried about it too much, and yes I would still like the tube please, I've been doing the 750 first then onto the 400 next. Been working at the weekends trying to get the new AD plant finished Al, should be starting it next week. Then it will be back to normal, I hope.
