Howdo! Can anyone shed some light on the newer integrated coils utilised on the newer bikes??? My remote ST3 coils has 2 wires: 1. Goes to the ignition side of the CAN display. 2. Goes to the fuel pump. On the newer model (999 for example) As above but there is a 3rd wire which goes to the regulator??? Anyone know why? I take it these negate the need for HT leads? Thanks for any info Pablo
Hi Pabs I think the wiring is thus power signal earth probably uses the earth or more correctly O volts from reg regards Steve
Cheers Steve, One of the lads on another forum has stuck up a wiring diagram for a 999. Right it's early in the morning so bear with me, the ST coils don't need the negative feed from the reg due to them being connected to the chassis? The reason I ask is I'm looking into the wiring and feasibility of this HM quickshifter (Waiting for Gareth of HM to get back of hols before I grill him with loads of questions, just accumulating the ammo :wink Cheers Pablo
