Hi everyone Just testing the water here, to see if anyone is interested? I have been thinking about selling the Ducati, but it's a hard decision as you can imagine? The bike had no dealer history when I bought it from M&S Newcastle. I have serviced the bike myself and it had new belts, battery, brake pads front and rear, plugs, oil and oil filter, starter solenoid all in December 2013 and has been ridden only a few times since then, in fact I would have to double check my mileage, as it may not actually be as high as that. The condition is very good with only the usual stone marks here and there, but you have to look hard to see them. It has the extra single seat cowl with number boards, the original exhausts (it has termis on now) and original screen, as a darker one is on the bike now. New Ducabike pressure plate and cover with stainless steel springs and black levers, with the originals ones as well as the original clutch cover. Aluminium clock surround, new OEM clutch pack still in box as original is still OK. Also had the seat re-trimmed and piped with yellow as in image. Bike starts first time and runs like a dream, sounds amazing too. Writing this at work, so will double check the mileage when I get home , but it's around 14k. Would be looking for £2,300 ONO
Looks like it's now on Ebay by a dealer in Staffs with a fairly reasonable profit margin. Shame it didn't go to someone on here, looked really nice. Such is life :Meh:
My God, I wish I had seen this earlier. I would have raided my ISA. I have never really got over selling my own creamy yellow 2001 900ssie - though it had to be done at the time RB
Yes it was a wonderfull bike and I would loved someone on the forum to have taken it. Had a lot of good times on her
I must keep a closer eye on the forum in future! I have an 05 999 which is a cracking bike but not such a 'real world' machine as the ss was. Yours is in fact on ebay via a Staffordshire dealer - so the ISA is still not entirely safe RB
