  1. I'm feeling generous so willing to swap mine for an 1199r

  2. Fitted the full termi system. Renthal Q/R sprocket with carrier and brembo monoblocks.
Just realised that the rear hugger won't be any good as it touches the bigger pipe when sat on the bike.
Is there only the short DP hugger that won't touch the termis? I would have liked to have fitted one of those powerbronze huggers after seeing one fitted to @Old Jock 's bike. Would anybody know if it'd fit ok with the bigger termi pipe?

Y piece needs the spring lugs re welded on the out side to match up with the slash cuts. I'll get them TIG'ed on tomorrow.

  3. don't you think such a clean bike deserves a better looking drivechain ?

  4. Still a bit of life left in it. I'll wait until later on then change the full set. Going to go a bigger sprocket on the back anyway

  5. No hanging about there mate!

    Looking good :)

  6. haha, no mate. working nights this week so have time during the day :)

  7. Had another few ride outs the last couple of weeks from a fews hours to short half hours here and there each way and must say since i fitted the Superpole seat I've had no aches and pains in my wrist or arse so far, i can't believe how much difference it has made in my enjoyment of riding the 848 :D

  8. When I had my Evo dark in 2011 I bought a power bronze hugger, I had full system on that one and hugger didnt fit :( Couple of weeks ago I bought a hugger from Conquest Carbon it is longer than the DP one and fits no problem even with the full system on Corse SE :)

  9. What front number boards are recommended on the 848/1098/1198? Really like the look of the 1098R with the white front and wish to replicate that.

  10. I got mine from carbon trader, couldn't find a great deal of choice anywhere other than the motografix ones. Not the easiest things to fit.

  11. Your number board looks great Deano. Is it the vinyl type that you have to heat up to fit?

  12. Thanks mate, It is a beautiful piece of kit but then again so is the 899/1199 and a few of the other sport versions.

  13. I only had to heat it to stretch out creases around the screen and lights. It's very forgiving.

  14. Getting my bike tomorrow, but it has that whacking great standard sized plate. The thing looks like an air brake!

What tail today is the one to go for, preferably one that would take a 7x5 plate?

    Thanks.

  15. Meloti ones look great. Good build quality too.

  16. What bike ?
I use Evotech good quality and look nice.

  17. Sorry, forgot that part. 1198s.

I'll have a look at Evotech. Thanks.

  18. Evotech on my 848 Evo, got it through Conquest Carbon, £60.99. I have also fitted the 1199 indicators to it.
