I am in Horsham and it has been raining since earlier this morning.Not heavy rain but the drizzly kind.

Mervyn are you going to be there today at sometime? I am going to make a guest appearance around lunchtime.

 

Hi John.Sorry -but I am not to good today.Had an incident a couple of days ago trying to save my next door neighbour after he suffered a cardiac arrest.Me and Zena tried our best to resuscitate him but he died a bit later in hospital..Physically and mentally we are a bit weary.Will catch up with you soon.Ride safely.

What a great day.
Weather only dampened it slightly, and those committed to this event where an asset to society , you should give yourself a pat on the back for being brave and generous to the charitable causes that rely on your goodwill.
Very nice to see familiar faces and some gorgeous machinery.
We welcome back Phil B to our fold as we have missed his company and hope to see more of him this year!!
Hope Gavin got back ok and is not still stuck on the M62 heading north when he should be heading south!!
Got to mention Vince's nice stealth black Panigirdle on the catwalk alongside Neil's Harley look alike .
Last of all I would like to say a big thank you to Sue who puts in a lot of effort to get this event off the ground and make it happen along with all the other organisers.

I loved the little Red & Gold 250cc single Ducati shown in my photo above. Beautiful piece of engineering design. If the owner is on here I would like to more about the bike, What model is it?

 

chip shop gutted - but the owners are already getting insurance claim etc underway.
My thanks to all those who braved the elements and made it Horsham Piazza Italia (over 120 beautiful Italian bikes), once the collecting buckets have been assessed, I'll let you all know how much was raised. And last but by no means least - my thanks to Sue, and the Sussex branch of DOC GB for all their help not only on the day but beforehand too!
