  1. Your LAST CHANCE people, to offer a price on my 1198SP.
    No issues, 2700 miles and immaculate. Now SORN, needs MOT and depending on your point of view, it might need belts this year.
    I will trade it in in the next few days ( Saturday or Tuesday ), so get in there.
    I need some room in the garage and this one has to go.

    Price ? Make a sensible offer.

    I will probably give it a final polish in the morning and then call the shop at 12 to collect.
    It seems that even on here, you try and sell stuff and people just don't bother getting in touch again.

  6. I think ultimately a good advert with a bit of effort put into it goes a long way. The product being sold needs to be hyped/glamourised so the potential purchaser feels like he needs it, rather than wants it, and you are doing them a real favour by selling it to them.

    This comes across like you really don't care.

    Just my two cents.

  8. It doesn't look like the bike is for sale (no price) and it's not ready for sale (no tax, no mot and needs servicing) ....there are just too many negatives/barriers to achieving a decent result IMO

  9. Didn't this pop up for sale before with no pics/scant details?
    The OP's response when asked for photos was "go and Google 1198SP".

    May have been a different machine/seller!

    I haven't taxed or MOT'd it, because I'm not using it. That's why i'm selling it.
