848 / 1098 Modifications - what did you do ?

  1. Do they flash quicker than normal?

  2. I read somewhere that there's a sub menu on the dash which allows you to change the lights to LEDs. That might help if yours are flashing too quickly.

  3. Yep, that's why there are some resistors wired into the loom. Those are Ducati parts swell, so your dealer should be able to supply it all. I had mine done at the last service as I'm rubbish with electrics.

  4. Yeah I know you can get resistors to sort the flash out. On my Evo I have wired my own in. I used a set of 1199 indicators took the plugs off and soldered the 848 indicator plugs on. Might have to cut them again and add resistors to the wiring. It's not that difficult.

  6. Nice Rich! May I ask how much that those have cost you? I'm looking into upgrading to better ones myself.

  7. A lot! Not to sure how much they are new tho

  8. Is a lot somewhere halfway towards a set of rear sets? If so, then I'll be going that route instead. Fancy myself some Lighttech rearsets.

  9. About 50 quid the last set I saw on eBay

  11. That's roughly € 70,-, without shipping. Then the Rizoma's might be a cheaper option. Thanks!

  12. First ride out this morning with the 14T front on. Just wish I'd done this sooner. Brilliant :)

  13. Is it smoother from a standing start?

  14. Yes. Smoother all around! Well worth doing. A lot easier riding round town.

  15. That's where it's most noticeable.

  16. Do you have a link Bettes to the sprocket you purchased?

  17. Sorry, no. Got it from the dealers. Paid £18 and it's a JT drilled one. Should be loads on eBay. Some people have got them for as little as £14.
