  1. Hey peeps...

Anyone going to the MCN Bike festival this weekend... If so i will be on the Ducati Stand... drooling over the chicks... lol ;)

  2. Have Ducati got a stand there?...just been looking at the list of exhibitors and they aint on it!
    Honda/KTM/Suzuki are though...

Hope its better than the last BMF show held there, what a load of shit....

  3. Any one going along this weekend

  4. Damn Just Created this same thread could not see it for looking

  5. Anyone go?....was Ducati there?

  6. Yes i went and was a bit of a let down if I am honest

No Ducati stand just an owners club tucked away

main stands where all pretty much the same offering the same stuff

flat track was ok did not watch much of it

no bike jumble like there was a few years ago I am told

Bacon roll and a beer was the highlight for me

£25.00 to get in for what was a market rather than a festival if you ask me

  7. This was the first year of the MCN festival in Peterborough. I did look at going as I only live up the road, but it clashed with other plans the missus had already made so I couldnt go. My mate went and he said it was "okay" but not great, so it sounds like id have been disappointed had I gone.

The BMF show at the Peterborough showground used to be a cracking show in the mid-late 90`s. Beer tents, live bands, loads of autojumble and stuff going on all day. But then it seemed like the organisers just got greedy. The live entertainment moved to evenings only and you had to be a BMF member to get into the entertainment area to see it. The quality of the stands dropped and it ended up being more like Sunday Market with stand after stand selling mega nasty quality cheap leathers and helmets. I stopped going shortly afterwards as it just was a waste of the admin fee.

I was actually looking the other day to see what bike shows are still going. Looks like all the decent ones I used to go to back in the day have now died a death. I used to love the Streetfighters show in Sheffield, and nearly every year me & mates used to go to the Road Racing show at Ally Pally. Both were cracking shows, although I used to always end up spending a small fortune on tuning bits for my bikes.

  8. Unfortunately much as I thought it would be....glad I didn't go, the BMF show used to be one of the must attend shows a few years ago, then it all seemed to go wrong ...not entirely sure why but my guess is money was involved somewhere along the line ,what a shame!

  9. i was there... was ok... got in for free !! .. would not have paid for it though, due to the fact there was not much to do.. :) . DOCGB gave me a free exhibitors pass.
