Picked up the new Multey today. Got the Touring S with the urban pack too. Only ordered it less than 2 weeks ago! Lucky or what?Awesome machine, outshines my old Ohlins 1200S in every possible way. Lovely looking too, except with the panniers and top box on when it looks shite lol. Now to get the fecker run in!
God i can't believe it ! i am still waiting after 3 weeks. dealer says 2 weeks time . i think in the future first diavel will get the DVT and we might even see 1299 diavel DVT but i guess cruising bikes will get it.
Me too. Ordered mine in early March. Phone two weeks ago. Bike delivery 18 May, you can collect 21 May. Whoopie. Phoned 20 May. Yes! Your bike is here it arrived yesterday (20). You should be able to pick it up Friday. Phoned on Thursday erm no it's not ready but it is on the bench maybe Saturday. Phoned Friday sorry no it's not been back on the bench - next week sometime mate. At least by this time next week I should have it but you know when you sort of lose the enthusiasm for it? That's where I'm at. Pleased you got yours though and that you're enjoying it :Arghh:
If u got it from Lagunas bud I'd take it to pro twins to make sure it's put together correctly. Just saying, other experiences maybe different.
Italia in Lincoln. To be honest they are always careful not to promise definitely but it's frustrating on bank holiday when you know they had the bike there four days and I'm sat twiddling - especially when it's already been on the bench once. Obviously they have services booked in etc. which won't help with the planning.
That's no good mate ! It wouldn't take them all day to ring the bike together. 1-2 hour job. Just because they lock you already and you already bought it they are not afraid that they will lose you. I can't get this mentality I wish I got the luxury of selling something and not looking after the customers but these fuckers does. Sorry I am alittle upset about that glad it's not my dealer. I would have tell them put the bike to their ass! And cancel my order see what will happen then !
Hmmmmm I ordered mine on 31 January and still no news of bike. I'll be giving my dealer a ring on Wednesday when they open Not very hp
I saw my bike being PDI'd and prepped. When the body work was stripped I was shocked at the complexity of wires and electronic gizmos. The main wire group was at least 20 mm dia. Both the mechanic and dealer owner said it was far more complex than the older bike. The software upgrades, 3 at present , took a couple of hours. I had spot lights, engine bars, rad guard, sat nav cable and scot oiler fitted and the bike was in the workshop two days. By the way most bike workshops are at the busy time of year with my dealer currently booked out for 4 weeks so book that first service at delivery.
