Hi guys placed the order a week ago, i have had a deposit on the BMW S1000XR since last year i took it out and what a disappointment yes its fast sort of bike that needs revving the quick shifter is great really smooth but on the road what's the point you may as well get an auto. To sum them up the BMW is like the starship enterprise very precise and fast but so dull and the Multi is like a fire breathing dragon loads of soul,fight and excitement. Only problem now is the wait.
Told if I buy one now, white, build July for Aug delivery but I'd be happy to wait for a 65 plate as I have a fair bit of track riding planned in July and August
My experience at Moto Rapido: Deposit for DVT S in white was placed mid may - told bike due for manufacture june - bike to be ready end of june/ start of july I was called on 10th june letting me know production has started and bike should be ready on schedule! Can't fault the service or communication so far! Really nice to see, especially conisdering how busy these guys seem to be!
Depends on pack too. As white S quicker than red unless you have touring pack in which case same time (which is the shorter of the two)
Who's the dealer? I'd have changed by now. Apr order unfulfilled when others ordered in May and have already?! Assume you're not UK...
