When I picked up my bike I had a welcome email from Ducati that included my personal code number that gave me access to the site etc. The email also stated I would get my Ducati card with the code number on it blah blah. After reading this thread I went onto the site and registered via the "Ducati Code" link and added my code and details. They sent me another email welcoming me to the site with my details but another code number stating ti would give me access blah blah. Which is my code then?
i had my card the same day of bikes delivery and now i have a code come from Ducati. i don't even know what to do with it but i guess its helps if you stuck somewhere or you need to move the bike to a dealer.
Well after all that my card arrived today with my old code on it! I now have two codes Not sure which is the correct one.
It's the number allocated to you by Ducati so they recognise your bike details etc. I now have two codes. One I access the site with and another on my card which is all a bit odd.
Has anyone used the assistance? I had to when the clutch master cylinder on my Multistrada gave out in the London rush hour. I didn't have any codes - just called the emergency number gave a few basic details, a van turned up, picked up my bike and took it to a dealer to be repaired. All very efficient. I'm guessing that all the necessary details are traced internally when you call.
