New Kawasaki Gpz900r A8 (BRAND NEW UNREGISTERED) Doors Sports Tourer for sale in Gotherington, Gloucestershire - Autovillage Gotherington Look nice on a plinth in the downstairs lav.
A mate has just bought one with just over 2000 miles on for about £2500 I prefer the earlier Kawasaki's myself, but still want a first model ZX10R
In 2003 the law was going to change so most of the 'new' old stock bikes were registered on 03 / 53 plates. I have a new K1 GSXR 1000 and a new launch model R6 which were both registered. When all the dealers that had stock decided to register so as not to get caught out, they then did a U-turn on the legislation and made it dependant on the laws at the time the bike was new. My new R1 escaped this and is unregistered. The perceived value is in the fact that the bikes are new - so as investments it wouldn't matter anyway - mine are all new showing no more than 1 or 2 miles. A bike with 10 miles is no different to a bike with 50, or 100 in my eyes - it's not new.
300 miles certainly isn't new. You have to wonder how it could rack up 300 miles without being registered unless its been ridden on a track in which case its hardly unused. If its a Japanese market model I wouldn't have thought it would be worth as much as that in the UK.
