  1. A mate has just bought one with just over 2000 miles on for about £2500 :)
I prefer the earlier Kawasaki's myself, but still want a first model ZX10R :D

  2. How do you go on registering an 'old' but unused vehicle that wont meet the current emission regs ?

  3. In 2003 the law was going to change so most of the 'new' old stock bikes were registered on 03 / 53 plates. I have a new K1 GSXR 1000 and a new launch model R6 which were both registered. When all the dealers that had stock decided to register so as not to get caught out, they then did a U-turn on the legislation and made it dependant on the laws at the time the bike was new.
My new R1 escaped this and is unregistered.
The perceived value is in the fact that the bikes are new - so as investments it wouldn't matter anyway - mine are all new showing no more than 1 or 2 miles. A bike with 10 miles is no different to a bike with 50, or 100 in my eyes - it's not new.

  4. I work just along the road from AutoVillage, that's not normally their thing.

  5. Its a lot of money. And check out that rear fender/hugger/mudguard/thingie... :Wideyed:

  6. I would hazard a guess at it being a non UK model - Japan home market maybe.

  7. I see it says 10 miles but I the text it says 300 miles?

  8. 300 miles certainly isn't new. You have to wonder how it could rack up 300 miles without being registered unless its been ridden on a track in which case its hardly unused.
If its a Japanese market model I wouldn't have thought it would be worth as much as that in the UK.
