  1. Silverstone on the 12 Sept. Anyone going? It'll be my first time out on the bike in 5 months so if you are I'd stay well away from me!

  2. I'm booked into that one.

  3. Happy days. Lets hope the weather is ok. I've gone for the novice group as I won't have ridden for a while, but if all feels good will ask to go up to inters. Look out for a white 848 with a scuffed rhs fairing.

If you want, post nearer the time and we could try and get in the same garage. Not sure which pits they use though.

  4. Would love to do the Gp, but im on Holiday with the lovely Sarah. If it were the week after, i'd be there like a shot :upyeah:

  5. Well to Drinky and anyone else going I'll see you there tomorow.

Bayliss rep 848. Trying out tyre warmers for the first time and apart from the ride to MR today, this will be my first big blast in months.

Don't be shy, come and say hi! (OMG how cheesy does that sound)

  6. Very. Hope the day goes well

  7. Matt,
Sorry just seen your post re saying Hi. Did you go today? I was in inters and had a good day, other than what seemed like an abnormally large amount of red flags.
Hope you had a good day.

    Drinky

  8. Yep, I went. So So day really. Loads of reds, think we were red flagged every session before lunch. Got my suspension looked at, it loads better now and just started re- learning the bike really.

All went well really apart from I thought the group sizes were a bit big and the idiots from gp3 that thought they'd jump in on gp1's last session and terrorize us.(they were quick though)

I was in gp1, riding this

  9. I lied, I did see you while I was watching from pit wall. Definitely better after the lunch time briefing. Colin at 100% really does know his onions and luckily his Ohlins and he really can make the bike feel completely different.
Group size is always surprising at Silverstone but it's such a big circuit That there's always a bit of space.

  10. It is big. I think that's what I don't like about it. donnington is still my favourite, closely followed by Caldwell. Melbourne hairpin is probably my favourite bend ever. Brake hard then power out up the hill.

    What were you riding?

    Matt

  11. I've got a KTM RC8 track bike, black with orange wheels.

  12. Yep, saw you. Sounded very nice
