They are all the same up to the 998, but you are best buying a new one as some of the older ones may be past their best by now and it could be false economy. They were about £40 a while back and secondhand ones tend to be fairly rare as a lot of people pick them up as spares etc.
I wouldn't buy a used one, might be half-knackered before you start, that said I bought a new one that leaked from the off and got through about half a dozen of the things on my 916 before getting an aluminium tank - which is the ultimate solution and cheaper in the long run...
I was hoping someone would haw a new one forsale or could point me in the right direction, I have the part number but seem to be having issues finding one forsale online, as my local stealer seem reluctant to answer the phone.. With the ally tank, how do you check the level?
Take the cap off and look down it! although this is tricky unless I take the fuel tank off. What I did was fill it to the top and let it 'spew' the excess into the catch tank, I haven't needed to add any coolant since fitting it.
