  3. Thanks for that.

Yeah I saw it earlier in the week on one of thier promo emails, looks ok too. But I've been looking at Sealey tool chests and top boxes and found a seller on the bay of doing both for £100 delivered. So I might just go down that route.

  4. I took delivery yesterday of a Draper tool chest and top box.Although it is not Snap On quality it was not snap on price.Well satisfied with what it is and more than suitable for my part time fiddling and fettling.Hope this is of use to you.

  5. I saw the draper tool chests etc.. Not having seen one wasn't sure what they were like. I had looked at the Sealey pro range with the ball bearing runners etc.. But like you I'm only wanting this for a bit of part time fiddling etc..

I might check out the draper set again now, thanks :)

  6. Try USA Pro tool boxs on Ebay i have about 6 of them never had a problem they are fairly well made and quite heavy duty, i have been using mine for 4 years now

  7. I bought a Clarke 5 drawer chest about 3 years ago, wasn't too impressed with the quality when it arrived but in fairness it's done the job perfectly and was only £110. It's had a very heavy regular Snap-On chest sat on top since I bought too but need some "modification" (with an angle grinder :)) before it fit. All in all, good for the money.

  8. I use the Clarke HD Pro tool chest & cabinet. Ive had the cabinet for about 10 years I guess and after running out of space for my tools treated myself to the matching chest once Machine Mart had a VAT free day on. I did spend months waiting for the right one to turn up on ebay within collection distance and in the end just got fedup with waiting! They werent cheap, but the HD Pro ones have roller bearing drawers and certainly have stood up to the test of time so far. The halfrauds professional range are also worth considering.
