Wanted 748r

I know of one through a friend who works at Ducati. I've text him for details.

For that sort of money I'd want the correct seat unit and red mirrors!:Angelic:

 

There should be a black painted section under the front of the seat that carries through the line of the carbon airbox.

Have a look at the other even more expensive R on autotrader to see what I mean.

 

Didn't they vary from year to year. I've seen the bike in the flesh and it is amazing.

 

The black portion is not painted it is a sticker that was lacquered over and I believe this may have only been on 2002 bikes that had full Ohlins etc..

This bike, as mentioned above, is not the most desirable model (as it is a 2001) and the price, seems to me, to be excessive for a 2001 bike and is really more leaning towards the full Ohlins 2002 model.

 

I sold mine to Robinsons of Rochdale a couple of years ago, maybe longer but they said they were going to keep it so not sure if they did or if they sold it.
It was like new !

 

I'm sure it has full ohlins?? Is there a difference?
