  1. Howdo!

After a 900 2Valve motor, not after a blinged out motor. Even interested in non-runners. Cheaper the better :upyeah:

    Cheers Pablo

  2. The guy I got my project bike from had one under his bench with cracked cases around the rear mount. He's near Christchurch if it's any good to you. Let me know and I'll try to dig out his contact details although it was a few months ago.

  3. NuttyNick Cheers dude!

After air cooled motor 470 four.

  4. Reblock the barrels to oil-cooled again & run a huge oil cooler! :upyeah: Cheap 944 kit anyhoo?

  5. Paul
You can use the st2 bottom end and barrels as darren has said
Just buy some aircooled heads.... A pair are going cheap on fleabay

  6. 900ss heads wouldn't fit the ST2 barrels??? Or are the barrels the same diameter? 94mm pistons against 92mm pistons?

  7. Good shout... They may just have overbored standard 904 barrels to save making new heads? Finding ST2 heads would be interesting!

  8. ST2 barrels are bored out 904cc 92mm.

  9. Engine is in Perth, getting heads.....mmmmmmh. I'm in no rush, it's for a winter project.......stop me goin to the pub.

  10. Sorry, the motor has gone :-(

  11. Offer £75, get it shipped to me, i'll bring it down to you, sell the pistons and barrels, look out for 900ss heads, barrels and buy a pair of JE hc pistons and Bobs your uncle!

  12. I have a pair of ST2 heads (and barrels & pistons) if anyone's looking...

  13. Have the heads got the cams fitted ? If so. Your arm will be ripped off any time now!!

  14. 'fraid not, that's why I bought them.

Actually I bought a complete ST2 engine as a 'cam donor' but the bottom end went to a chap whose Monster engine imploded when the chain snapped.

  15. I bought a st2 complete engine and sold the cams for more than i payed for the engine... alot more!
Then sold the empty heads, pistons and barrels.

Bought 916/st4 heads, pistons, barrels and rods for the st2 bottom end and built a stroked 4v for my 851 with cash left over

Crazy world we live in when it comes to tuning 2v duke engines!

  16. Best thing about building a 'hybrid' is that you end up with a box full of surplus bits and if you can't be bothered sellin'em, you can always start another 'project'...

  17. Whats shocking is 4v engine bits can go cheaper than 2V!
I think i now only have a few bits left of 2v parts (topend) but as aways i now have collected lots of 4v stuff.... i never learn!
