  1. Don't know how much joy im going to get I hear they are rocking horse crap to find and expensive.
Thinking about fiddling with the suspension in the winter and was going to start with the clamps.
    Mark.

  2. Why 748R ? There are a number of aftermarket options that offer much more scope for adjustment. Andy

  3. Sorry that's just what frame im using is all so yes a bit to specific granted.

  4. I'm running a bit of a hybrid based on a 748R but with an RS engine and supersport running gear. So that's 30mm offset mag alloy trliple clamp (916 Racing), 23.5 degree headstock angle and a 19mm extended swing arm. Up rated stock Ohlins front forks, 748RS Ohlins rear shock, Marchesini road and race mag alloy wheels and Brembo racing brake set up. It's still a work in progress but handles really sweetly. 5. Sounds like you are where I would like to be regarding your bike. Im running a 748R frame with a 999S motor, im using the showa forks with internals to suit my weight. 23.5 deg headstock ohlins R rear shock find it works fine for me. Lightweight Marchensini wheels, brakes again because they work Brembo 65mm p4/34 jobbies with an Accossato mc. Would like to find a longer swing arm and triples to fiddle around with over winter if poss. At the right money of course. Im off to Cadwell next weekend for would probably be an end of season play might get 100% to check over the springs for me.

  6. Sounds like you are well on your way, absolutely must work for you. I've got a 748RS engine sitting in the utility room waiting for a friend to rebuild it with 853 pistons and barrels which should be the last piece of the puzzle ;). Enjoy Cadwell and I think any money spent on professional suspension set up is money well spent. Andy
