Now I am guessing this is a Ducati 749/999 trait. Why when I open the throttle to full is there a hesitation? Is someone able to explain exactly how the induction works?? Many thanks, Bluey.
To explain further. Do you remember how a twin choke carburetor would pause then go when you floor the accelerator? Its exactly like that. Is there a butterfly valve in the induction or exhaust system anywhere?
Ok after some reading, I assume this is a feature mapped into the ECU to emulate an accelerator pump on a carburetted engine. Can I do anything without a remap?
tps check would be my fisrt point of inspection. Ans where did you get the idea of carb emulation?????
Just something I read when searching google. Happy to be put right though. I read the ECU adds a burst of fuel when at WOT. If this is not correct I'll look at the TPS first.
it's working on info sent from tps, lamda sensor and MAP senor if it has it. it varies injector duration accordingly while the fuel pressure should stay constant
think someone oh here stated that they had a stepped resistance rather than linear. but dont quote me on that.
