  3. Just for the record.... I didn't tar Audi drivers with this brush, only speaking as I find.
    And it has been a 3,4&5 that have caught my attention in the last few weeks...
    What surprised me was that Ducbird mooned on the way past....:Mooning:

  10. Yes, it's already been modded by previous owners. I'm not sure what it's running but 260 sounds/feels about right.
    The brake calipers are standard but with Brembo pads (cheaper than the bike, ffs!) and I replaced just about all the suspension stuff myself with new mounts and bushes from Powerflex. It's a great little car and considering it was £2850 with 83k on the clock and FSH, the spec is pretty good.
    Having driven a hire car in Spain last week, it just confirms that I'm a car snob and would prefer an older German car quality than a shitty Ford/Shitroen/Renault/Pug/Vaux/etc!
     
  11. Yep , although i bought mine about 5 yrs ago there is nothing now to touch it for the money ,,, there is a pretty good forum for owners ,, surprisingly similar to this one .......
     
  12. get most of my income from the v.w. group. just saying.
    not servicing, repairs. obviously i don't see many new ones they seem to hit about 6-7 years old 80k on them then it's just one thing after another. for that reason i like them. thriving on a past reputation.
