Removing Righthand Crankcase Cover

  1. Hi all,

    For the first time ever working on my 1098S, I'm having a problem doing something. I'm trying to remove the RHS crankcase cover.

    The Clutch basket is off, all bolts out, hitting it with a rubber mallet but it's not shifting i.e the 3 bond is holding fast.

    Any tips or tricks?

  2. Sure you have got all the screws out? You couldn't possibly have overlooked one, could you?

  3. Hi, No missed bolts but some heat did the trick.... pop, it was off! :)

    Now on with the magnesium cover :)
