  1. bought a harly t shirt at the week end..:p

  2. Strewth, there's a lot of 'facts' here! Ok, I've had a Harley for 22yrs but had many other bikes as well, including scooters so I'm obviously not too biased. Can't blame a company for trying to build a brand by selling 'lifestyle accessories' and we all love to buy tat for our bikes, be they carbon, tassled or for actual improvements in performance. I say - buy what you like if it makes you happy, just don't believe it will actually make you more attractive to women (or men) or faster 'cause non of these are likely.

Performance is probably best gained by rider improvements such as the IAM, track time and getting fitter. I've done all of those but still like carbon, anodised bits, upgraded suspension etc. I draw the line at one-piece leathers and speed hump though...

  3. But do you like the velvet underground?

  4. I read the other day that Ducati's global sales were up by over 20%, and UK sales were up by nearly 40% in the last year.

But the diehards still think they should be sticking to sportsbikes...

  5. KTM sell BBQ cattle brands and motorcycle grip beer openers. Their lifestyle brand is ace.

  6. Cuckoo clock... Garden gnome...

    Brilliant

  7. Talking to a ducati rep at the Conrad ride out ,he was riding the full throttle ,let me sit and play on it for a while and I came away thinking its everything a 50 odd year old should have... great bike

  8. I'm glad corporations are taking all of the thinking away from customers & placating more special time into our hands whilst covered in their tat..

  9. Don't forget the toaster that leaves KTM logo untoasted.

  10. Entirely due to Scrambler sales. Were it not for that bike then Ducati sales would be well down on the previous year from what i have read.

  11. So they were right.

  12. Who, Ducati or the Ducatisti..?

  13. The Hipsters :Nailbiting:

  14. The company. After all, they aren't a charity organisation. They exist to sell bikes and make money.
