If you ride your bike at 100 and plough into a bus stop queue ,you get chared .this pilot in my opinion flew dangerously. if there is such a thing as dangerous flying like death by dangerous driving

What if you are riding within the speed limit, fail to see a pothole, lose control and plough into a bus stop queue ?

However he did operate the aircraft outwith the display authorisation provided by the CAA and rules were broken so no doubt there are grounds for further investigation.

 

He didnt fail to see a pothole. He saw the pothole, thought he couldnride it out and couldnt. By different

 

I admit it wasn't a very good analogy.

 

At the end of the day he performed the manoeuvre a good few hundred feet lower than he was allowed by his license. Tragic yes, but he is on some level culpable. I'm sure the family will want some action but if I were a judge I'd find it difficult and probably go with a similar sentence to a death by dangerous driving charge.

If my wife were killed by a driver pulling out without looking, I'd expect a death by dangerous driving charge. Even if it is still a tragic accident.

 

If he purposely went for the manoeuvre at that height, it can only have been wreckless if that height was not enough

 

And that woman who pulled out of a junction whilst on the phone. She was a policewoman and miraculously got off. It's not on and it's not fair on the families of the deceased.
