Hi, I ordered a new alarm fob for the factory alarm on my 2011 Multistrada from Metropolis Vauxhall, where I bought the bike. The fob arrived from Italy and I went to pick it up to get it programmed - They couldn't do it! - even with the instructions that came with the fob... They don't know the "secret code" (pre-owned bike...) and even if they did they don't know under which menu to enter it ?! Is there a menu option for programming an alarm fob ? I have the key code & process but not sure that's got anything to do with the alarm ..? I'm astounded a main dealer doesn't know how to do this ... Any clues out there please ?
Thanks but these instructions are for a MY15' Diavel and don't fully make sense for a MY'11 Multistrada. Does anyone have these instructions for a MY'11 Multistrada please ? The bit that doesn't make sense is "carry out a key-on / key-off cycle" as there is no key on a Multistrada ? Any clues out there please ?
Yes that would be logical. But How long do you wait in between each code number? There are no signals to indicate ...
