BKS Helmets What do you guys and gals think of these. It's not for me but a friend starting out and taking CBT
I cant even find them on google. I gather they are a budget helmt............just at the time a leaner needs a decent helmet.............................
I would suggest a kbc for a first lid I have had a couple of these and they are really good and you can get them for a good price too!
If it's been tested and approved then there's nowt wrong with it and it's fit for purpose. Don't listen to the label hounds, tell your buddy how to try a lid for fit and get them to buy the best fitting one rather than the poshest one.
Hi Viv, I have a lovely looking small HJC helmet, that has been worn once by a pillion, if she wants to try one on somewhere to see if they are any good to her. It's still in it's bag in the box. I'll get some pictures up for you, if you think she might be interested.....it cost around the same as the one you linked, but will be posted for around a third of that.
Check the Sharp ratings? A decent indicator for safety but that is arguable... Actually couldn't find the helmet on the site!
Erm....black, blue and silver, without opening the box. I'll get some pictures later...I only got in at 2ish this mornin. Yeah it was alright....too hot for me, but the old fella was happy enough when we turned up. Talking to the locals there, it was too hot for them in June - July at 45 to 50 degrees.....WTF!

Funny one of my shoei's is blue too, two are black and one yellow....and erm blue! The HJC wasn't mine, and has, as I said, been worn once by a pillion, but it's been in my house since it was new, I took it as part ex when it was 2 days old. I did have the receipt....but I couldn't see it in the box.
Lol I know the preferred colour is yellow to be seen but I am trying to sway a good lid like Arai into the thinking. Well I'm biased but will pass on the pics
