Hi All I'm Bob from the Scottish west coast . Semi retired but still can't find enough time for biking. Recently got my first Ducati at the advanced age of 65. It's a Multistrada 1200S in red ( what else) Thoroughly enjoying it but some aspects take a wee bit of getting used to. Bike not without its issues but still very positive about it Other bike is a VFR800FI - only because I'm not allowed more than two
Not been there, but you are very welcome here at the forum don't worry we are not all spring chickens on the forum
welcome - I went to Ayr racecourse for the first time ever at the weekend. I haven't got a clue about betting, so I walked up to the counter and said, "Excuse me. Could you explain to me what an each way bet is please?" The man said, "No problem Sir. An each way bet is split into two stakes. The first is a bet on the horse to win. The second is a proportional bet on the horse to finish in a place. This can be first, second, third or even fourth, depending on the amount of horses running in the race." I said, "That sounds perfect for me! Can I have two pounds each way on number four please?" "No," he replied. "Why not ?" I asked "Cos this is a burger bar"
what do you think of the electric brea? works for me every time. nice we bit of coastal rd that, all the way down in fact.
Thanks guys. I know at this time on a Sunday morning I should be elsewhere on two wheels but the family are here for the weekend and the Multi is still in Glasgow getting fixed. Electric Brae finm ?? Can't remember stopping there, too good a road to stop and they've fixed the road just to the south of that at Pennyglen
yip was down there last month. head south past heads of air theres a lay by where you can experience a wee optical illusion the road points down but you feel you are travailing back up the hill. good craic, the kids love it.
