  1. Well I've just picked up my Dvt s this afternoon and so far I am more than happy with it. Grinning all the way home. Only managed 70 miles today but should get in another 150 or so tomorrow. Find it difficult "restraining" myself though, I hate running bikes in.

  2. yeah, but to be honest, running in a multi at say 6k or whatever you still can ride dam fast, and as you state have fun :)

  3. I feel your pain, had the same issue, but now I am so happy that I was patient, the engine has got so smooth it runs like butter, the sandy mushy sound has all gone and it's just bananas when you twist the throttle, I'd never get this feeling from a Japanese engine.

  4. I've done just short of 500 miles on mine, dealer said not to run in at all, just use the rev range, they said thats the best way to run in, obviously not totally hammering it but just ride it, and no need at all to go steady.
Going for a 300 mile ride tomorrow up the Dales, North Penines and Lake District, so looking forward to chewing up some miles. This is just the bike that I've wanted for some time, its a pleasure to ride! :)

  5. Another 200 miles done today, through the Elan Valley in mid Wales. Better book that first service in!
