I've managed to pick up a really anoying stone chip roughly the size of a small little finger nail on my otherwise perfect bonnet. Has anyone used any of those mobile Dentmaster / Chips Away services? I appreciate that I could have a go myself but know before I start that I'd regret it and the whole bonnet would need respraying - each to their own!
Thanks for that. A few questions about them if I may. (i) Was it an invisible (or almost) repair? (ii) Did they have to respray part of the bonnet or did they just work on the chipped area keeping the worked on area small.
I've used Chips Away twice a couple of years apart on two different makes and different coloured cars, both with metallic paint and on both occasions they've been a perfect match and a faultless finish. The price I paid was super-reasonable on each occasion, but then I don't really know - a 14" graze, down to the metal, on a wheelarch £100 and then a 4 inch gouge in body coloured plastic, plus little bits and bobs, chips and scrapes with the remainer of the paint for £65 - seemed like good value, but YMMV
