  1. Didn't the data show he pulled his brake on, then blabbed Rossi for kicking him in the head, then forgot and said he kicked his break lever? :D

  4. The more I watch that footage, especially the shot from the helicopter, the more persuaded I am that immediately before he went down, Marquez basically leant in on Rossi's bike, possibly while applying the front brake. Then as Rossi broke off the contact, Marquez was leaning over at too far an angle for his low speed and/or loading the tyre through braking and/or the sudden change in load on the tyre when suddenly Rossi's bike was effectively no longer propping his up, caused a loss of front tyre traction.

That in no way exonerates Rossi or blames Marquez, because Marquez probably felt he had little option other than to force his way back towards the racing line, or else he possibly faced being run into the gravel.

    Thoughts?

  5. told ya so! :hammer:

  6. So you still believe the decision will be changed?

I have to admit, this was before his appeal to the CAS, when I was sure. I still don't think it will, but you never know with these things, it could go anyway.

I'm happy to donate to charity if I lose, please pick a genuine one :grinning:

  7. im not genuine!!!! :Wideyed:

  8. There are a lot of possibilities, the fact that a week and a half later people still have wildly differing opinions on it probably means we'll never know for sure. Maybe when an autobiography come out many years after retirement, who knows.

We don't know a lot of things, but we do know one thing for sure. Rossi pushed Marquez offline, whatever happened after that is subject, mostly to opinion it would seem.

  9. Hey, I'll stand by my word if I lose. Fair's fair. But there must be better causes than you Chizel. And in the spirit of it, I did say charity.

I thought Chizel's beer fund was a joke. But if it's insisted upon..............:Angelic:

  12. Ask yourselves this..... What did you all think real time?? Over analysis is a bad thing, it makes you believe what you want to.
Rossi behaved like a Cnut. Get over it. Roll on Sunday!

  13. I agree with some of this. I suspect that what happened at the end was a spur-of-the-moment reaction to some ill-feeling that had been ongoing, off and on the track. There would not have been a carefully thought out strategy, it was a case of spontaneous responses on the part of both riders.

The conclusion that Rossi was the one that was misbehaving is unsupported, though. Stop being a cnut, Mary :D

  20. I've reviewed all the available footage.

It's clear that Zinedine Zidane emerged from the Yamaha frame and head-butted Marquez off the Honda.

    He has form.
