1200 Looking At Changing To Diavel

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by psalliss, Nov 2, 2015.

  1. Hi I'm looking at changing to a diavel for something different for a year and wondering what money I could get back for some of extras on my bike if sold seperate.

Termi end can from pikes peak
Sargent heated seats front and back
    Mra touring screen
    Givi back box and rack

    Thanks

    Phil

  2. How much do you want for the Seargent seats ? Andy

  3. No idea at this time hence for idea of pricing. They are 500 I think new. I'm not committed to the diavel yet that I'm looking at but curious on value of extras on mine.. Thanks

  4. It's always a bit 'finger in the air' regarding 2nd hand bits and generally impossible to say, depends too much on right time right place, condition and also how quickly you wanna sell them.

best thing you can do is trawl the for sale section here and also the sticky in the multistrada forum as that has pages of bits sold over the years.

  5. Thanks will do.

  6. Psalliss, have you had a go on a Diavel yet ?

  7. yes took a diavel Carbon out when mine was in for service,

  8. I changed from a Diavel to a '13 Multi and i must say, the Diavel would kick shit out of it in the engine department. Mine had a remap and end can and sounded awesome, whereas the multi unfortunately sounds like it listens to a lot of George Micheal in public toilets. Brilliant bike the Diavel, you wont feel short changed!

  9. The multi is the better bike for me and more practical ect ect but there is just something about the diavel. Was brilliant fun to ride and totally different and the noise sounded like a bike. The one I'm looking at is a dealers demo bike. It's the dark but with all Carbon parts added and a full termi system

  10. My girlfriend bought a September registered demonstrator in the March with about 600 miles on it. They will have been together for 4 years in March coming and she is still totally in love with it. Just rejoined the local AM club and working towards her assessment. Bike always draws admirers. 11. Always intended on switching to the new multi but took both out and loved the diavel but wasn't thrilled with the seating position on the new multi but the bike itself was much improved. There's just something about the diavel. One of the things causing me to hesitate slightly is lack of ability to stick top box on the back and pillion carrying.

But I'm looking at getting something else like a drz400 for commuting and stick my top box on that and getting the passenger back rest to stick on when I do take a pillion.

  12. She has got me and my Multistrada so has no need for top box or panniers :). Andy

  13. Other half wouldn't do her test unfortunately. Shame as was going to get a scrambler or monster, just for her? Honest.

The back box is useful if I nip to the shop on the way home

  14. It's at this point I need to repost the "ball bag" picture from the Random Picture thread but I can't find it. Andy
