Looking for a decent spec 848 track bike. Currently have a 899 panigale road bike but after a few track days at Silverstone I want something not so expensive as i plan to do a lot more next year. Looking to spend around £5k.
I have a 2008 1098 track bike, it's was my project for the winter, but not going to be able to do what I wanted to. I have just brought another track bike (1098s) instead already in the spec I wanted. I recently sold the fairings to a friend, as he needed them, I have a full set and half of fibreglass fairings, these will need painting. This year I did Brands, Silverstone, Mugello and Portimao, bike is awesome. It's currently stripped down, but have everything to put it back together, looking for £4300 as it is. If you look back at another one of me threads, I had the timing belts shred on me at Brands earlier this year. I replaced all the Belts, tensioners, both static and adjustable, retaining nuts and the did Silverstone, Mugello and Portimao. There was no damage to engine, a leak down test was performed and was all good. You can read the thread below Inbetween Mugello and Portimao I have the Forks seals replaced and they changed oil and checked everything over. They also checked the tension on the belts etc. and all was good. Yeah I think to fair. It's currently sorn also, I have the road bits so it can go back on the road if you wanted to. Plus I need to make space for the new bike
Mmmm not sure for £5.5, I haven't seen it, not saying it's not there however I am always looking, might of been a starting price. I know there is one for £6.5
