  2. Care to follow it up with the fitment lark & price & maker?

  3. Waiting for mine to arrive.

My one worry is that I will quick shift into one of the many false neutrals in the box. Have you had a play with it yet?

  4. Hi
Yes the quick shifter is a translogic intelishift s4 comes as a kit for the DVT but you have to do a bit of messing to get it to fit but if I can do it then anyone can it also comes with an adjustable speed control (extra cost) so when you are riding round town you can increase the cut which works really well then when you go much faster you can decrease it and the difference is Incredible it also has the ability to fine tune each cut between Each gear so for instance 1st to 2nd is a longer cut then as you go up through The gears the cut gets shorter and shorter I must admit I have used std settings and it works really well To answer moon fruit about the false neutrals I was also a bit worried as the gearbox was less than perfect but I can tell you that fitting the quick shifter has transformed the gear changes also it's got better with more miles 6500. If you are thinking about Getting one do not hesitate it's the best thing I've fitted in a long time it also has a function called soft shift which is really cool when you are flat out changing gear it feeds the power in nice and smooth to prevent the back tyre bracking traction or the traction control kicking in very clever
oh cost just shy of £500

  5. Hi Kurt,

Can you elaborate on the 'messing about' bit of the fitting please?

  6. Hi reburner
Messing about ment finding a position for the quick shifter rod
Which fastened to the gear lever then fastened to some where on the engine and adjust the length as required (this is done once it's all fitted) then find the coil wires which are located on each side of the bike behind the radiator cut the relevant wires and solder the quick shift onto them, then find a suitable position for the control unit, tidy the wires up and your ready to set it up. Put the bike on a paddock stand start the engine and try it if it cuts in at the wrong time adjust the length of the rod or shorten it till it cuts at the right time job done it's taken as long to type this as it did to fit it here's where I fitted the control unit
