i saw on a car program at the weekend, a mechanic changing a cambelt on a car. what he did was split he old one in the middle, all the way round, then cut the front one off. then he slid the new one on half way,cut the rest of the old one off and pushed the new one all the way on. would this work on a ducati?
Setting the tension was very straight forward. I got them in the ball park using the 45 deg twist then used an Android app called Carbon Drive; it displays the Hz numerically & consistently.
I once checked my new belts after a 50 mile run . Started off at 110Htz after only 50 miles 89 Htz . Never been to bothered after that .
I couldn't find it in the Apple Store; only on Playstore for Android. Do you have a link to the Apple version?
had a look for the apple app under gates corp but couldn't find it can anyone advise of an apple friendly app thanks
I think it got pulled but is still on Android. It got great feedback so it is a pity they pulled it. Perhaps it was too good
Gosh, just checked and my updated versions are still working on IPad and iPhone, so that's a relief. Can't find it on the App Store, so it looks like it has indeed been pulled. Bugger...
