Hi guys. My husband just sold his old Ninja and bought himself a multistrada so he can take it to work when the weather behaves. He does a lot of driving to customers so I've bought him a TomTom navigation system for his birthday (early December). My parents would like to get him some accessories to go with it for christmas. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Hi Bluepeace, I'm guessing you're new here and I see you've got the usual mickey taking responses! I'm afraid I can't help as I don't have a sat nav but I believe there are some waterproof covers available, which is probably the sort of thing you were looking for. My only other suggestion might be a good recovery service. Not that I'm suggesting he will have problems, but as a just in case!
Hi, I use the TOMTOM rider, if that is what you have purchased its waterproof. To fit to the bike I use a tricle charger lead as the power supply. I think this is a good idea as most people fit a tricle charger to there bikes etc such as optimate. If its a TOMTOM Rider then I can also recomend a aftermarket mount as the standard one is not great depending on the bike model. The mount I have fits to the top of the fork leg. TECHMOUNT - Products
Thanks for the helpful and comic responses. I've got him the Tomtom urban rider so it's the middle of the range one from what I can see. Oh and Dave, we have number of maps at home but sadly they blow away when he tries to use them while riding
Only thing i can thing of some type of headset so he can hear instructions and listern to music etc...
Tec mount make a really nice mount for Tom Tom rider which clamps on top of the fork leg.... Or a different Bluetooth head set which can stream mp3 ?
