Bike will look mint with the CF belly pan and V piece. There is enough space to fit some aluminium mesh to the back of the V piece. Just for a bit of added protection.
Interesting, I did think about that... I guess helps stop the radiator getting damaged? I guess it's easy enough to bond on...
Did you polish the pipes yourself. .. and how easy was it to remove and replace? Looks absolutely great, i need to do this to mine
No I got them polished, very easy to remove, one of the nuts on each manifold is a bit fiddly. I bought new gaskets and nuts and it probably took me 10-15 to put it all back on
Ha ha that is the big bonus ... where did you get it polished and how much if you dont mind me asking ... cheers looks fooking awesome
Bike was dropped at Baines Racing this morning by my friend in his race van. Should hopefully pick it up once I'm back from South Africa in mid Jan.
Feck me! Had to read that twice. Thought the bike had been dropped at first, rather than dropped off!
Haha poor England on my part! Had a good chat with Geoff on Monday, what a top bloke he is, bike should be in fine fettle and almost how I want it when it returns, just need levers and fuel filler cap. Also my HID kit has now arrived which is a bonus.
Hi, sorry can I ask where you bought the ducati performance bellypan, I thought they where 1 piece like on the 1098r? Bike looks awesome, those polished pipes look great
Great looking bike, I have just removed the white front fairing cover off mine, looks so much better IMO If your after a carbon lower fairing I am thinking of selling mine as I've replaced it with a stock one? If your interested I'll drop some pics over to you
Still cant make my mind up if i want to put white number boards on or not ... like the look but also like the plain look
Back from holiday and finally managed to pick this up... Should be collecting the bike from Baines in the next few weeks and can put it all back together, then all I need is some levers for it. I'm also going to remove the front white board from mine.
Well she is back tomorrow, so I can commence the rebuild and then get out on her when the weather clears up, can't wait. Have taken the front number board off and I'm on the look out for some cox racing radiator guards and some asv levers.
