Bought myself a copy of this, 25 years of Ducati Corse in Superbikes. I'm not a fan of Alan Cathcart but couldn't resist a deal on ebay. I've only read a few paragraphs and he's got up my nose already by being gushy and big headed. Also the bit I read about Troy Bayliss is all wrong, saying he won both races at Imola in '01 (he crashed out of the 1st race and didn't race in the 2nd due to injury), and then goes on about a limited edition silver Bayliss 998S that was made to celebrate winning the Championship(they were red). If you're going to write a specialist book get the facts right eh. Anyhow its a good coffee table addition with some great pics of the bikes with some gorgeous bikini clad women draped over them on a lot of the 225 pages(the books in conjuction with 'Fast Dates' calenders) so that makes up for the crap writing.
sounds really informative. (i tried to add a smiley winking but the site didnt want to play, as usual)
Still haven't read much of it, but it seems the photo captions have the wrong facts. The few bits of chapters I've read are correct. It's co-written and I think the other guy has done the captions as he is resposible for the pics as part of the 'Fast Dates' collaboration. Can't fault the photo's of bikes and hot chicks tho,
