  1. need a spring like this one (ebay Part Manufacturer Number: 79910661C M9D1) as mine has snapped, but not for £55 thank you. Any one got a reasonably priced on, or know where i can get one?

  2. Good luck in finding one cheaper, I had the same problem last year but it was two days before sending the bike to Almeria!! Had to fork out the cash

  3. Aye, if you find a cheaper supplier please shout out. Moto Rapido, Snells, JHP should be cheaper on postage though.

  4. That's the ducati part number. They're £52 and a few pennies. Add in postage and it's about right. You could try searching on the STM part or EVR. They do the same job.

  5. Or you could get the Sigma one which we have found works and last longer than the Ducati item

Give Neil a call and he`ll help you out :upyeah:

  6. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I think it may be a sigma type anyway. It is a six ramp affair. How much for a spring?? Can anyone confirm/recognise this, as it has no makers stamp. Cheers.

  8. Nice one. Just bought it. Cheers, Dave.

  9. I have ditched my slipper after the springs keep going, mine has the larger corse type and the last new one i got about 33 years ago was £80 or so from Ducati. Silly money.

  10. I read somewhere that the Yoyodyne spider springs fit the Ducati slipper. Search

My EVR is sat on a shelf in the garage with a broken spider spring.

  11. I wouldn't go back to standard clutch for sure.I think im on my 3rd sp in 20,000 mls.To me £55 don't seem worth complaining about when you get the bill for new tsubaki chain and set of renthal sprockets or a brand new set of supercorsas. In fact if your one of these folks that changes oil more frequently than service then you shell out at lot more on that for good stuff like motul300v than replacing a spring now and then.

Change your spider spring every 2 yrs = £27.50 a yr to not have the back end skipping about all over the fucking place lol.Seems a small price to me but then I absolutely love my STM slipper on a big v twin .

  12. would this give a little more pressure to give a little less slip over the DP one?? would like just a tad less slip, cheers

  13. Yes it does give a bit more pressure and last much longer :grinning:
