Hi guys I’m looking to replace the coolant o rings on my 748 and would like to quickly confirm the size that I need to buy. They are the ones located behind the coolant inlets/outlets and blanking plates on the cylinders. I blindly purchased an O ring set, however none of them fit! :tired: I’ve also tried to measure the cavities the O rings sit in, at 20mm x 2mm thick. But I just wanted to confirm before I make any more rash errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all Rob
Measuring the "O" ring is like trying to push a piece of string. Nominally it has to go in a groove that is 21mm id and 25mm od so is likely to be 22/26 diameter and about 1.9mm thick. Recently purchased from MR for not a lot. Oh yes and they are green in colour. Andy
Thanks guys. I'll be honest, I normally try and avoid main dealers like the plaque, as you can normally get alternatives much cheaper else where (bearings being a perfect example). You have persuaded me Thanks for your input, it's very much appreciated Rob
