Only ridden once so far and took it fairly gingerly. Couldn't get it out of first as it sounded too good! Tips in far easier than my 08 R1 that I had last. Seems more eager than my RSVR, but it does have more power. The engine isn't run in yet so can't go mad for another few hundred miles.
I believe it was a guy who went through a divorce, so never went out on it. But once his divorce was through, he subsequently bought a Monster. Not quite sure why he would not use it... I'd be out on it all day and night if my wife was a PITA!
My friend that came with me to view the bike got a close up view of the heat shield on the 1199/1299 and thought it ruined the rear
