Thanks for all the suggestions guys... Decided to take them there myself on Saturday. Anybody from Sussex need anything taken/picked up?
Surprisingly easy trip to quaint Coventry yesterday - two hours despite fog and mist on the M25 and M40. The 2.4L diesel in my Alfa 159 really loves a good high speed cruise! Totally underwhelmed by the actual shop they have there at JHP although it was good to have a gander at the race bikes they have on display. Got a free coffee and choccy biccie from Mr Hacket himself...I am/was not worthy!
It's all about downstairs at jhp, always has been and hope it stays that way, the new coffee machine is a good un, never had choc biscuits tho, must be Christmas left overs.
I agree...I expect the investment to be in the workshop and the skill of the mechanics. This is fine by me.
The best couriers that I have used, without a doubt are APC (interlink express overnight). I dropped off a swingarm at 17.45 and it was delivered at 08.30 the next morning. All this for the princely sum of £12.50. They have always delivered all the packages I have sent on time and my theory is, the less time they have them, the less time they have to damage them. Good packaging is essential. There is no substitute for this. Not sure about insurance but they will even pick it up for £25 posted. Couldn't recommend them highly enought, just a bit miffed that they don't advertise, then I wouldn't have to deal with yodel and herpies not ever delivering parcels.!!
