  2. Nice!. Quite rare to see an 1198 with a red frame. I much prefer the red frame to the black or gold.:upyeah:

  13. Yes waiting for spring. Minus 20 degrees celsius here last two weeks so no ride in near future:weary:

  16. Just fitted an aluminium tank to my 1198s; I have always liked the bare alloy look. The increased capacity is great but it was more about the look. I intended to paint the bottom white like my Xerox original, but I think the Corse stripes match the scheme well.

  20. It's cleaned up well. I saw it on eBay and thought it a bargain. I would be worried about how those stomp grips would come off that aluminium which put me off a bit. Seems they came off ok. I think it would have sold for more had it been cleaned up and gleaming like it is now. Still, it worked out better for you, you've bagged a good deal there!:upyeah:
