to sell my 749:cry:. Needing funds to finish a money pit(I mean cottage) bought a couple of years ago. Looking for some advice re pricing for a quickish sale. 2004 's' 30,000 miles, comprehensive service history (last service August 15, belts, plugs/filters/fluids, new brakes, Michelin 2Ct's, and suspension set up) done by ERS Racing. Bike has Termignoni end can Ohlins(professionally set up for me 13.5 stone)and runs fantastically well. Only covered a few thousand mile since buying from a forum member @CRYSTALJOHN in November 14 and getting used less and less as the money pit is taking up all my free time and weekends. Bike let me down once when water got into the rear cylinder on a trip to France last summer but has been a dream to ride both before and since. Has been tucked up in a heated garage since September wired to an optimate and just looking to free up funds for one final push to get the cottage habitable for the better weather(if these bloody storms will stop).Any advice welcome. a 5k mile 749 sold on here quickly just before Xmas at £3k. So I'd guess lower than that due to miles but add a little for being bette spec?
I bought mine for 2.8k with 25,000 miles but with less bling, basically a standard bike that needed TLC. Do you still have the standard parts, you could always return it to standard and make a bit more that way?
Thanks guys was thinking around about the 3k mark myself(there are very few out there for sale to compare). Don't have the original parts so will be selling as is.
I've just been looking through ebay and there is nothing for less than 3250. When I bought mine there were lots to choose from.
