Nobel peace prize to EU

  1. The 2012 Nobel Peace Prize has gone to the European Union for preserving peace in Europe for an unprecedented 60 years, and now extending that to 27 nations. Everyone in Europe has the right to be both proud and grateful - I know I am.

  4. What a load of ballcocks. I reckon the prize should have gone to Germany for not attacking anyone since 1939 :biggrin: Oops is that PC :rolleyes:

    Inspired prize-giving really, do it now before they/we start fighting over the Russian Gas/Oil pipeline.
