Forget tank bags. Ruin the airflow; keep you from getting weight over the front. Try and get something that goes on the back.
unless you cant get on and off with a seat pod, in which case its rucksak or tankbag. Prefer tb as you can rest on it on the mway or when touring speeds...and handy place for twatnav
take a look at bagster / bagglux tank bags and covers. They're a little more generic so at least the bag will have resale value to somebody other than a ducati owner and the tank covers themselves are generally really top quality and a good fit. bag wise they have loads of options in the capacity stakes and the actual tank covers are normally really easy to peel off in one piece with the tank bag in place at the end of your trip/arrival at hotel. just a thought.
