1200 Decat Without Remap

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Jimmyr, Feb 13, 2016.

  1. So im currently running a leo vince decat with a termi stubby can (my neighbours hate me) with Standard mapping.
Im planning to ride down to barcelona in april for a track day at parcmotor (not on the multi).
So because of this i cant really budget the £4-500 for the cjs tune, will the bike be ok doing around 2k miles with no custom map or am i just asking for disaster?

  2. Will probably be fine, I ran mine with the SC Project can without a remap for months and my multi before that came with an Arrow and never received a remap.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. Mine runs Leo Vince decat with Std end can, only mod I have is a set of fat duc's to solve lumpy bottom end on my 11 plate

  4. I've been running MIVV decat and Suono end can since early 2011 on the original ECU (20k+ miles). The dyno shop that fitted the pipes left it on the rich side and said it was fine. Apart from the typical lumpy lower end (character....) it runs great, if a little thirsty at 38-41mpg.

  5. Cheers for the responses guys, just had a few worries as bike was backfiring but after a bit of research seems fairly normal after these mods, will have to ride down to cjs when i get back and let him do his magic
