Have a look at tuneEcu .... works on android tablet, i flashed my ecu, reset tps, view faults and turns off service text on my 1198 ... it does other makes n models also, £8 for the app and £25 for the leads, the website has maps for the ecu's also
2004 Ducati monster1000 sie. If there is a electrical fault would the ecu pick it up and not let the bike start? Can I reset ecu faults?
You can reset faults but if you haven't fixed the issue it will reappear Change ecu? ... only need to flash with new map if you have race cans or full race system
Had a huge amount of work done to the Ducati monster 1000 sie. Valves ,valve guides, cam belts etc. All the bike does is click at relay next to battery when ignition is on. The mechanic did not have any computerised diagnostic equipment. Checked everywhere for bad earths etc. Come to the conclusion it may be something to do with the ecu or immobiliser. Any ideas what it could be? And how to fix? Thinking about buying diagnostics kit from eBay.
Yep changed the relay and put new battery on. It makes me think that the ecu is picking up a fault and making the relay constantly click. What do you reckon?
If it was an immo problem then you would get no clicks. Have you put the small earth fly lead under one of the ECU bolts?
