  5. Cheers Neil, but really dislike the look of that.

  6. Steve the problem we have on the DVT is the rear light is sculptured into the tail unit and the mouldings all form a continuous shape if you remove the tail unit the bike would look like half of it was missing as it extends all the way underneath the back wheel.
When I spoke to Evotech they said they had looked at it but gave up,
To alter the tail would take a composite specialist to re design and mould a new back end and it was out of their scope as metal engineers and not something they wanted to get involved in.
I took the route I did due to no viable alternative I don't like loads of black plastic and I don't particularly like the standard back end however fitting the carbon cover to me makes a feature out of something that could not be bettered

    Regards Neil

  7. Fair comment Neil, thanks for taking the time to write that, I did think if Evotech hadn't come up with one, it was probably not dooable
I will hopefully get to see one in the flesh one day from a few angles & I can decide from there
    Thanks again
    Steve

I am going to speak with a Carbon Fire fabricator when i get back to Thailand next month to try and get one fabricated. Will let you all know how i get on and see if it is worth maybe a small production if it gets good feedback..

  9. Neil I quite like the look, just not the carbon look, maybe get it wrapped, what sort of price is this, and do you have anymore images from different angles please?
also I assume the Panniers slide on and off with no problems?

  10. I may well be wrong but my understanding is what Neil has is the ducati carbon part, which is identical to the stock part but manufactured from carbon instead of plastic. If you plan on wrapping it you might as well wrap your current one, unless you're one of those weightsavingw@nkers :tearsofjoy:
